for tuning out

suppose that we are living in a very plug-in world.

i am talking about it literally.
i was studying without my ipod playing at the backgrd today at home.
at home, it is impossible to hear zero noise i guess, even if my siblings or parents aren't at home.
first thing that annoyed me in the morning is that my mum loves to play the stereo very loudly. but not that, i hear drilling noise above all.
i wanted to go down stairs to study, but its not available.
surprisingly drilling sounds are much softer downstairs.
went back to my room, closed the door, windows are closed.
noise level goes down by a few notches.
my mum said my room is getting stuffy, so i opened one window.
while studying halfway i keep hearing occasional crooning noises.
two pigeons were on my window stand area, love making i guess.
i was half peeking at them while studying and half hoping maybe they will make their nest there.
the bigger pigeon got suspicious and kept staring at me while i stood in freeze position. pretty ridiculous. and later decided to slip away, back to studying.
i wonder why birds love that area outside my window, it keeps getting bird shit.
cause after the pigeons, came two black mynas.

after all this, i just switched on my ipod.
